Firmware Notice: EOS 90D: Firmware Version 1.1.1
Firmware Version 1.1.1 incorporates the following enhancement and fix:
- The option to capture both 4K and Full HD movies in the frame rate of 23.98p has been newly added.
- Fixes an issue where error code “Err 01” may be displayed when using EF 85mm f/1.8 USM or EF 100mm f/2 USM lenses.
Firmware Version 1.1.1 is for cameras with firmware Version 1.0.0. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.1.1, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
You can download the latest version of the instruction manual from the website.
Preparations for the firmware update
In the folder you downloaded are the firmware (EOS90D0111.FIR/File size: 39,424,560bytes) and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese). Before starting the firmware update operations, please be sure to check the procedure in accordance with the instruction.
