Issue
Concerning the PowerShot G7 X Mark II, a very small number of units may be affected by an issue where the built-in flash fails to operate.

The cause is breakage in the wiring of the built-in flash, due to excessive pop-up operations.

Compact Digital Camera PowerShot G7 X Mark II

Units that exhibit numbers [21] through [62] in the first two digits, and [0] through [4] in the sixth digit of the camera serial number displayed on the back of the LCD monitor are affected.


Support

Units that are within the scope of affected units and exhibit this issue will be inspected/repaired free of charge. Furthermore, kindly note that any inspection/repair other than for the issue above that is performed on an affected unit is subject to a fee.
