The imagePASS-E1 print controller is recommended for color-enabled imageRUNNER C3100 customers that use graphical/page layout applications or require true Adobe PostScript 3 and PCL 5c support.
The imagePASS-E1 print controller uses a Linux operating system and features an Intel Mobile Pentium III 850 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM and a 20 GB hard disk drive dedicated to printing applications. The imagePASS-E1 attaches to the rear of the main unit of the imageRUNNER C3100 and plugs directly into the system's standard 10/100BaseT Ethernet interface.
The imagePASS-E1 is compatible with the most popular operating systems and platforms in use within corporate America today.
