Not only does Secured Print enable users protect documents they send to print, it also helps your organization to reduce wasted prints.

When a user sends a job for output, rather than print automatically, jobs are held securely at the imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFP until released by the user entering the correct password. This step prevents documents from being printed when the user is not present and therefore also prevents pages that might otherwise never be retrieved from getting printed out in the first place.

AA-PRINT is a serverless solution that enables authorized users to securely retrieve the printouts they need, from whichever device happens to be unoccupied and most available.

If a user sends a document for print and the first device is busy, they can simply walk over to another device, log-in, and retrieve their job. In ways similar to Secure Print, this feature also helps prevent users from wasting pages unnecessarily.

Print usage can also be tracked, which can help your business manage total print expenses. Because AA-PRINT is designed to run in a server-less environment, it can be made available on networks without need to set up an additional server.

uniFLOW Output Manager enables you to increase security measures and manage output for device activity across your organization. To prevent unauthorized persons from retrieving confidential printouts, jobs can be held at the uniFLOW Output Manager server until a user provides identification at a networked imageRUNNER ADVANCE device. Like Secure Print, this feature has the added benefit of helping your company reduce wasted prints year-round.
