By leveraging Universal Send on an imageRUNNER ADVANCE device, businesses have the ability to distribute any kind of document—whether it resides on paper or in electronic form— as e-mail attachments, Internet-faxes (I-fax), or Super G3 fax transmissions, or forward them to file folders, Canon imageWARE databases, or internal device Mail Boxes.

Authorized Send is an embedded, server-less solution which provides secure digital document distribution, without the need for additional external applications or computer hardware. The solution provides users with the ability to access basic device features such as copying and printing but requires authentication to utilize send functions, such as scan and fax.
