"...For what you pay, this lens delivers amazing performance. The bokeh this lens produces is creamy good. The autofocus is surprisingly fast and accurate when shooting fast moving subjects, even when coupled with the 5D Mark II. It is quite a bit smaller and lighter than the 85mm 1.2L. The build quality is still pretty solid though. It is also great in low light. If you are on a budget, you can not beat the performance and quality you get from this lens for the price."

"This lens is great in low light and is an amazing portrait and wide angle lens. There IS some vignetting wide open, but it's not a big issue for me because I actually like a little vignetting. This lens produces very nice Bokeh wide open. This is a great wedding and portrait lens. I would definitely have this any day over the 35mm 2.0. It is worth saving the money for."

"This camera has two features that I can't do without, the high ISO and the two card system. I spent two weeks on safari. We would go out twice a day, once just before sunrise and them just before sunset. I would adjust the ISO any where from 100 to 26,000 depending on the natural light available...It focussed fast under all light situations. In two weeks I NEVER took my flash out of the bag. It is that good!"
